Un fenómeno catastrófico se registró en Fiji, hasta el momento no hay heridos ni pérdidas humanas

Se ha registrado en Fiji un fuerte terremoto de 8.2 grados en escala de Richter, el fenómeno natural se registró hace unos momentos, según informan varios medios y entidades especializadas en las fenómenos naturales.

El fuerte terremoto ocurrió con una profundidad de 570.1 kilómetros, debido a este fenómeno natural, han generado la alerta en las islas cercanas.

Hasta el momento no han mencionado si hubieron lesionados o pérdidas de vida, este terremoto podría afectar  una zona del océano Pacifico.

Tras el ciclón ‘Gita’ más del 70 por ciento de la población de la pequeña isla del océano Pacifico se vio gravemente afectada durante varios meses.

El Servicio Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS) registra el sismo a 281 kilómetros noreste de la isla Ndoi (Fiyi), y a 560 kilómetros de profundidad.

Ante este fenómeno natural  el Sistema de Alerta de Tsunami de Estados Unidos, no ha realizado algún aviso de riesgo.

Cabe mencionar que ha principios de este mes un sismo de magnitud de 6.9 con profundidad de 10,5 kilómetros causó la pérdida de muchas vidas humanas en Indonesia, este país tiene una densidad de población mayor a la de Fiji.
